To use certain features of SmartOST, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
SmartOST requires a payment per submission period to access the service for each application cycle (e.g., the 2026/2027 ophthalmology specialty applications). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Payment information is subject to our Privacy Policy.

You retain all rights to the portfolio evidence and data you submit to SmartOST. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
Patient data, personal health information, and identifiable patient information are strictly prohibited from being uploaded to SmartOST under any circumstances. Violation of this provision will result in immediate termination of your account and may subject you to legal liability. We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe violates this provision.
SmartOST is provided as a portfolio tracking tool. While we strive for accuracy in our scoring algorithms, we make no guarantees about portfolio assessment outcomes. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
In no event shall SmartOST or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use SmartOST.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
